Gornji Obod - Stražišće (path of Ronald Brown)

Access to the starting point:
The starting point is in Gornji Obod (3 km from Cavtat), near the bus station.

Path description:
From the Ronald Brown Trail signpost, follow the paved road up. The road leads between houses and turns into a footpath at the last house.
After a few minutes, the path joins the cart track, which you follow to the turn-off for the village of Velji Do.
The path is easy and climbs slowly in serpentines. All the time we have a wonderful view of Cavtat and Dubrovnik and its surroundings.
After an hour and a half of walking, we reach the village of Velji Do, where we continue along the asphalted road to the left towards the centre of the village.
Leave the road at the signpost of the local fauna and continue along the mountain path towards the Stražišće peak.
The path initially gives the impression of being overgrown, but soon opens up again and offers views on all sides.
From the signpost to the top of Stražišć is about a 30-minute walk.
