Gradec - Osojnica

Access to the starting point:
From the motorway Ljubljana - Koper take the exit Postojna and follow the road towards Ilirska Bistrica. Just before the village Pivka, the road to the village Gradec branches off to the right, and we take the same road. Follow this road above the village and park in the roadside parking lot near the church.

Path description:
From the church, continue along the road along which you parked. After a few minutes of walking, you will see a pond on the right-hand side of the road, after which you will come to a crossroads. At the crossroads, continue along the road on the left, which is getting worse. As we climb along the road, which later turns into cart track, we occasionally get a view towards Sveta Trojica and the surrounding peaks. Next, cart track leads us to an undistinguished woded ridge where we join the abandoned path from the village of Selce. Here, continue left along the faint cart track, along which you can see some completely faded markings. The trail, which climbs moderately for the most part, joins the trail from Vremščice just a few minutes below the summit. Here, continue left along the path, which will take you to the top in three minutes.
