Griže - Dragov dom na Homu (via Lajnarjev hrib)

Access to the starting point:
Exit the Styria motorway at exit Žalec, then follow the signs for Žalec. Via Žalec follow the signs for Griže, which you will reach shortly after the bridge over the Savinja River. In Griže, turn right towards the cemetery, and we park in the parking lot opposite the parish church of St Pancras.

Path description:
From the parking lot opposite the church, continue up the asphalt road, and at the nearby crossroads turn right towards Homa and Šešč at Prebold. The road continues past two chapels and then descends to a crossroads near the Inn pri Zibiki.
Continue straight on here (left path to Hom over Zahom), where you pass the above-mentioned guesthouse and a few more houses, and when you reach the forest, Griže ends. A little further on, the direct route to Hom branches off to the left, and the main road to Šešče pri Preboldu is left in the middle of a right turn or after crossing the Lokavec stream.
Continue on the left road towards Hom, which leads to the village of Bezovnik (Bezovnik on some maps). Here you leave the forest and pass individual houses to reach a crossroads by a chapel, where you go right (straight unmarked shortcut). There is a slight ascent to the right, and when you reach the unmarked ridge of Lajnarjev hill, you join the marked trail from Šešč pri Prebold.
Go left towards Hom, where you initially continue walking on the road, and a little higher up, go right on the marked footpath towards Hom. There is a moderate climb through the forest, and after the crossroads, where the Brdovska path from Matki joins us from the right, the path becomes a little steeper. Passing a 300-year-old tree, you reach a chapel where you join the direct route from Griž.
Continue straight ahead, following the more complex cart track, and when you leave the forest you will reach a small pass where the path from the hamlet of Zahom joins.
Here, looking to the right, a fine view opens up, which in good visibility reaches as far as Kamnik Savinja Alps, and we continue past the nearby house and continue along the steep macadam road, which we follow all the way to the top of Hom, where the church of St Mary Magdalene and the Drago dom na Hom stand.
