Grozzana / Gročana - Kokoš

Access to the starting point:
From the motorway Ljubljana - Koper take the exit Kozina and then continue along the regional road from Kozina towards Bazovica / Basovizza (Itali). Just after the national border you will reach Pesek / Pese, where you will turn towards Gročana / Grozzana. In Grocana, park on the roadside in front of the first houses.
The starting point is higher up in the village (fig. 1).

Path description:
The marked trail first leads from the starting point along a macadam road winding through the forest. The path is easy and marked with white and red markings, sometimes with the number 3 (Fig. 3 and 4). After 40 minutes, you reach a marked crossroads (Fig. 5), where you turn left. At this crossroads we turn onto a footpath marked with the number 28 (twenty-eight). We continue to the top of Kokoši (674m).
