Ilovec - Turn (above Bohinjska Bela)

Access to the starting point:
a) From Bled or Jesenice, drive to Pokljuka, then turn left towards Bohinj once you are on the plateau. Continue along the road towards Gorjuše, and between the road signs 4. 5 and 5 km, on the left you will see cart track and next to it the signs for Galetovec. There are no parking spaces at the starting point.
b) From Železniki or Podbrdo, take the road to Bohinjska Bistrica and then continue in the direction of Bled. Shortly after the Petrol station, which is located just after Bohinjska Bistrica, turn left in the direction of Pokljuka and Jereka. The road climbs steeply at first, then gradually flattens out behind Koriti, leading to a junction by the bus station, where you continue right in the direction of Pokljuka, Koprivnik and Jereka (straight ahead Srednja vas). Just after the crossroads we arrive at Jereka, and from the crossroads in front of the church we continue straight towards Pokljuka (left Podjelje). After Jereka the road starts to climb steeply again, and higher up it levels off and continues along the Mrzle potok, where the road to Koprivnik v Bohinju branches off to the left, and we continue straight towards Pokljuka and Gorjuši. After Gorjuše the road turns into a forest, and we follow it to a road marker between 5 and 4. 5 km, where we see on the right cart track and next to it markers for Galetovec. There are no parking spaces at the starting point.

Path description:
From the main road, the signs for Galetovec lead to cart track, which immediately splits into two parts. Continue on the right-hand one, or the left-hand one, as after an initial climb cart track and cart track quickly merge. The way ahead takes us past a small sign, and then the further folded cart track leads us out of the forest, where we reach the edge of mountain pasture Ilovec. Continue straight ahead, slightly downhill, to the nearby shepherd's hut, where the path from Bohinjska Bela joins from the right - the path via mountain pasture for the Cave.
From the shepherd's hut onwards we climb the worse cart track, which takes us to the upper part of mountain pasture, where the trail splits again.
Continue straight on (one of the paths to Galetovec on the right), and then a little further on there is cart track which continues the path. Here another path to Galetovec branches off to the right, and we descend gently into a small valley. There is a short climb, where a third path to Galetovec branches off to the right, and we follow cart track to a junction a few minutes away, where we continue to the right (to the left, Belska mountain pasture).
Follow the road up to the nearby NOB memorial, then bear slightly right, onto an unmarked path which curves slightly to the left and then quickly leads to a ridge. The path continues along the ridge, and after less than a minute's further walking we reach the top of the panoramic Turno.
