Izlake - Pleše (via Grobovščica)

Access to the starting point:
From Zagorje ob Savi, turn left just after the petrol station on Izlake and then continue for about 300 m to the parking lot on the right (in front of or by the Pizzeria Čebelica).
From Moravče: Continue driving to Izlake via Mlinše, where you can park at Pizzeria Čebelica, located on the left side of the road, or at the ETI factory parking lot, located 100 m further from the pizzeria.
From Trojane: From Trojane continue through the village of Orehovica, through Izlake, where at the turn-off to Moravče turn right and continue driving approximately 300 m further to the parking lot in front of or at the Pizzeria Čebelica.

Path description:
Park in the parking lot (either at the pizzeria or at the ETI factory parking lot) and continue along the main road in the route Mlinše for about 200 m, until you reach the crossroads, where the signs for Šemnik direct you to the left. Follow the asphalted road towards Šemnik, keeping left at all junctions. After about 15 minutes' walk, when you reach St Anne's Church, continue straight on up the road towards the centre of the village of Šemnik. At the end of the village, the asphalt ends and you are in front of a crossroads (right down, left up), where you continue left up. Follow the macadam road past the hunting lodge, where a beautiful view opens up towards Ruardi and Kisovec, on into the forest, where after a few minutes of walking the road turns downhill and you reach a meadow, where the road makes a sharp right turn. There is also a possibility to park here if you want to shorten the route. Follow the road towards the hamlet of Grobovščica, where at the end of the macadam road turn left uphill and follow the track along the pasture fence. The path climbs moderately and after a few minutes leads us under a meadow (on the left is a forest path back towards Grobovšćica), where we turn right towards the meadow. At the foot of the meadow, we can rest and freshen up a little in the wooden shack, as the path climbs steeply on the meadow in front of us. Walk straight up the meadow, the path is steep and you walk to the top of the meadow where the forest starts again. When you enter it, turn slightly to the right, where you will come out on a large forest path, which you follow straight ahead towards the top of the Pleska plateau. Just before you leave the forest, you will see a signpost pointing in the route you came, which says Šemnik-Grobovščica. We follow the path straight ahead (to the right there is a wonderful view of Triglav and Zasavska Sveta gora), past the turnoff leading right down towards Vežnica, all the way to the monument above us, under which we can see the view of Čemšeniška mountain pasture (on the left). It's just a descent, the path curves slightly to the right, and we find ourselves on the most popular May Day plain in Zasavje.
