Jasna - Kurji vrh

Access to the starting point:
From Kranjska Gora drive towards the vršič pass but only as far as Jasna, where there is also a parking lot (just after the end of the bridge over the Pišnica to the right). Park here.

Path description:
From the parking lot, turn around and carefully cross the busy road, especially in the nice months. Follow the asphalted road up past all the houses and soon you will find a dirt road. Keep going straight ahead and do not turn left until you come to a torrent at a right-hand bend, here you will come to a path on the left, which is visible but also helps you to cairn. The path starts to climb through a spruce forest and in a few minutes you leave the stream and turn left through the forest. From here on the path is steep throughout and increases in altitude. In the meanders you reach a ridge where there is a pleasant viewpoint. The hunting trail becomes even more upright higher up and leads us to a slight levelling in the forest, where we meet the markers of the famous PP trail (trail Planica - Pokljuka). From here on, the path rises even more steeply and gains height. The forest slowly turns into dwarf pines with dwarf pine trees, which adds a little effort to the ascent. Unlike the ascent, the summit gives us beautiful views of the Martuljek Mountains.
