Jelševica - Črni vrh (Čemšeniška planina)

Access to the starting point:
From the motorway Ljubljana - Maribor, take the exit Trojane, then continue along the parallel old road towards Vransko. After about 1 km drive from the town, when we have entered the old road, or more precisely just before the road goes under the motorway, a road branches off to the right to the nearby hamlet Zlokarje (there is a bus stop at the crossroads and a red mountain direction sign with the inscription Čemšeniška mountain pasture and Limovce). Park in a suitable place on the side of the side road.

Path description:
From the starting point, continue along the road along which you parked, which quickly leads to the hamlet Zlokarje, where you turn right at the houses onto cart track. Cart track leads us first across a grassy hayfield, then turns slightly to the right and into a dense forest. After a few minutes' ascent through the forest, we join a less good road which leads us first along the edge of the forest and then across a meadow to a nearby tarmac road. Follow the road to the left, which leads past a chapel to the village of Limovce, where you will see a registration box with a registration book and a stamp on one of the houses.
From here, continue on a slight incline past a few more houses, and then the road descends slightly. There is a cross-country climb for a few minutes over the slopes, then you reach a small crossroads where you continue to the right, but follow the main road for only 10 metres, then turn left at the cross in the direction of Čemšeniška mountain pasture. Continue up the slightly narrower road, which changes at the last house to cart track, which then leads over a hay field. On the other side of the hay meadow, you will come to a marked crossroads at Ovčji jamah.
From the crossroads, follow the road eastwards (direction Čemšeniška mountain pasture) and walk along it to the edge of the forest, and from there to the marked footpath, which soon crosses a worse forest road. Continue climbing through the forest for some time, then reach a dirt road leading to Prviny. Follow it to the left, and after a few minutes you will see the signs for Čemšeniška mountain pasture, which point you sharp right to the folded cart track. After a few metres, cart track splits into two parts, and we choose the upper left cart track, which turns into a steeper mountain path higher up. Higher up, we return to the road, and we walk along it to the parking lot at Prviny.
Here we pass the nearby Hotel D on the left, and the road leads us to the ski slope of the Prvine ski resort, from where we have a nice view. Leave the road here and continue slightly to the right on the cart track, which climbs across the ski slope and then into the forest, where it gradually turns into a wide path. A moderate climb through the forest for a few minutes is followed, then a wide cart track is reached, which is followed for a few steps to reach a marked crossroads. Here continue straight on (sharp right and down Izlake, Čemšenik, Kisovec. . . ) along the path which gradually passes the edge of steep grassy slopes. The ascent continues along the edge of the viewing slopes, which offer a beautiful view of the surrounding countryside and the nearby hills. Higher up, the path descends to steep slopes, over which you can walk in a few minutes to the mountain pasture hut at Čemšeniška.
Here continue straight on (sharp right and down Izlake, Čemšenik, Kisovec. . . ) along the path, which gradually passes the edge of steep grassy slopes. The ascent continues along the edge of the slopes, which offer a beautiful view of the surrounding countryside and the nearby hills. Higher up, the path descends to steep slopes, over which you can walk in a few minutes to the mountain pasture hut at Čemšeniška.
