Access to the starting point:
a) Via the Volovljek Pass (Kranjski Rak) or from Mozirje, drive to Luce, and from there continue towards the Logar Valley. A few kilometres after Solčava, you will reach a crossroads where the road to Logarska dolina turns left, and we continue straight ahead towards the Pavličev vrh (Pavličevo sedlo) pass and the Solčava panorama road. From the road we are driving on, the road to Matkov kot soon branches off to the left, and a little higher up we reach the next crossroads (the crossroads are located in the middle of a sharp left turn), where we continue to the right, or to the right of the road. We continue along the panoramic road, which is initially asphalted for a while, but we follow it to the parking lot above the source of the Kisle or iron water. There are signs for the Acid Water at the parking lot.
b) Via Border crossing Jezerski vrh (Jezerski vrh) we drive into Austria, and there in the Bela Valley / Vellach we turn right in the direction of Border crossing Pavličev vrh (Pavličevo sedlo) / Paulitchsattel. Once on the Slovenian side, we descend for a short distance and then turn left towards the panorama road and Podolševa (straight down Logarska dolina and Solčava). We continue along the panorama road, which is initially asphalted for a while, and we follow it to the parking lot above the Kisle or Iron Water spring. There are signs for the Acid Water at the parking lot.
c) We drive to Črna na Koroškem (to get here from Ravenna na Koroškem or from Šoštanj via the Spodnje Sleme pass), and then continue driving towards Luce. Initially still an asphalt road, higher up it becomes macadam and leads to a crossroads of several roads at the Spodnje Sleme pass. Continue along the main road, which begins to descend crosswise towards the settlement of Podolševa. At the crossroads, where the road to Solčava branches off sharply to the left, continue straight ahead towards the Panorama Road and Podolševa. After the Church of the Holy Spirit, the road gradually descends and we follow it to the parking lot at the Kisle vode spring.
Path description:
From the parking lot, continue along the macadam road towards the Church of the Holy Spirit in Podolševa (if you reached the starting point by following description c, head in the route from which you came), i. e. along the panoramic road. The road first crosses a small stream and then leads through the forest to a small crossroads, where you continue along the main road (forest road on the left). After the crossroads, you cross another small stream and then, after a moderate climb, you come out of the forest to a hay meadow from where you have a beautiful view of Golarjeva peč and the Kamniško Savinjske Alps. The road bypasses the hay meadow on the upper left side, where it also reaches a small pass, where there is a small crossroads and a table with a bench next to it, and a small wooden cross nearby.
After the precipice, the road returns to the forest, through which it continues for a few minutes. Once out of the forest again, you arrive in the village, where you see the Church of the Holy Spirit, which is reached in a few 10 steps from the panoramic road.

Opa opa, zakaj pa je ta pot označena pod karavanke? A niste to malo mimo vsekali?

LP
