Koča pod slapom Rinka - Dom na Okrešlju (Pastirska pot)

Access to the starting point:
We drive to Luce (to get here from Mozirje or via Kranjski rak) and on to the Logar valley. Shortly after the village Solčava, you will come to a crossroads where the road to the Logarska dolina branches off to the left. Turn left towards the Logar valley (pay the toll) and follow the road to the parking lot at the Cottage under the Rinka waterfall, where you park.

Path description:
From the parking lot, follow the wide tourist path towards the Rinka waterfall. After ten metres, you will reach a crossroads, where you continue to the right in the direction of the Pastirk trail to Okrešelj. We quickly begin to climb up the increasingly steep slope in serpentines. There are still trees in a few places along the way, but it is not difficult to cross them. After a good half an hour's walk, the path turns left and crosses the torrent we have been climbing alongside. We cross steeper slopes for a while, but then they flatten out. After crossing two more torrents (one smaller and one larger), the path leads to a short lane of dwarf pines. It is less than two minutes' walk to the crossroads where we join the normal route to Okrešelj. Soon we reach the source of the Savinja. After a short climb through a dense forest, the path lies down and leads to Frischauf's house.
