Access to the starting point:
We drive to Luce (to get here from Mozirje or via Kranjski rak) and on to the Logar valley. Shortly after the village Solčava, you will come to a crossroads where the road to the Logarska dolina branches off to the left. Turn left towards the Logar valley (pay the toll) and follow the road to the parking area at the cottage under the Rinka waterfall, where you park.
Path description:
From the parking lot, follow the wide tourist trail, which starts to climb gently. After a good ten-minute walk, you will emerge from the forest and reach a crossroads. Turn left (right Orlovo gnezdo 3 minutes) in the direction of the house at Okrešlju. The path crosses a small bridge and starts to climb steeply on the other side. After a short climb, the path leads us under the walls, from where we cross to the top of the waterfall. This part is exposed to falling rocks. The path then crosses the Savinja again and continues upwards along the river using steps. The ascent continues along the right-hand side (left bank) of Savinjek. Soon you reach the spring Savinjek, where you cross the water again. On the other side, the path goes into a dense forest and after a short climb leads to the winter shelter at Okrešlju. Continue to the left and in a few steps you will reach the house at Okrešlju.
At the home, take the path towards Kamnik and Savinja saddle. Soon you will come to the edge of a meadow where there is a crossroads. Continue left in the direction of Kamnik saddle on a path which climbs moderately at first through the forest and then through lane of bushes. The path then lies completely flat and in a short crossing leads us to a scree slope on which we climb along a well-worn path to the entrance to a less difficult wall. Next, with the help of a number of fixed safety gear, we climb a step higher, where the steepness eases a little, but the path is still quite steep and exposed to falling rocks. Higher up, the path leads to a steep and slip-prone scree slope, which is only traversed. There is a short climb up a wide and slightly exposed shelf, after which the path leads us to the vast grassy slopes of the Kamnik saddle. Only a few steps further we reach a crossroads, where we continue to the right in the direction of Turska gora and Brane (left Kamniška koča na Kamniškem sedlu 10 minutes). The path, which continues to climb on an increasingly rocky slope quickly leads us to a scree slope, which is dangerous to slip in the snow. The scree is crossed in a slight cross-climb, and then the path leads to the next crossroads, where we continue on the right path (left Brana). The path then crosses the slopes below Brana for some time, and then descends into a distinct notch called Kotliči, using the fixed safety gear. The well-protected and very steep path then leads to the most scenic part of the route. Following the well-protected path, we climb through the 'bottomless barrel', a natural window in the rock face of Turska Gora. The steepness then gradually eases and the increasingly scenic route quickly leads us to the summit of Mount Turska. Cottage under the Rinka waterfall - home on Okrešlju 1:15, home on Okrešlju - Turska gora 3:15.

Discussion about the trail Koča pod slapom Rinka - Turska gora (via Kotliči)

Lepa pot.

Nato dol skozi Mrzli dol do Okrešlja.

Tadej, kot sem že pred tremi leti zapisal. Gre za “zelo zahtevno pot”.

Zanimiva, lepa in dinamična pot, ena lepših.
