Korensko sedlo - Kamnati vrh/Steinberg (via Jerebikovec)

Access to the starting point:
From Kranjska Gora or Rateče, drive to Podkoren and then continue to Korenski sedlo, the starting point of our tour.

Path description:
On the Slovenian side of Korenski sedlo, just before the first byte (formerly a restaurant), at the end of the parking lot you will see a path (ruts) continuing across the meadow. The tracks soon disappear, and the "path" soon leads to a wire fence along which we climb to a small stream which dries up on dry days. We continue our ascent along the aforementioned stream (the world is quite overgrown in places), and then suddenly a relatively beautiful track appears, which starts to climb upwards to the right. The ascent continues along the path, which leads us through the forest, in numerous bends, to a forest road.
Follow the road to the left, but only for a good 5 steps, and then you will see a footpath that climbs above the road and continues through the dense forest. A slightly less visible path, which continues through the forest, leads us higher up to a clearing, where we also step onto the boundary ridge. From here to the top of Jerebikovac, we have only a few 10 steps of easy walking.
From Jerebikovac, continue along the clearly visible path that begins to descend the boundary ridge to the north-east. After about 20 minutes of descending, the pleasant path along and along the narrower border ridge leads to the Rekaršica saddle, on which stands a small shepherd's hut (the hut on the Austrian side).
From Rekaršica continue along the Austrian forest road, which climbs along the border ridge. The road soon turns slightly to the left, and we then follow it only as far as where a marked footpath branches off to the right and continues to climb parallel to the road. After a few minutes of cross-climbing, we reach a small ridge where the path from the village of Strmec/Krainberg joins from the left. Continue sharp right, along a moderately steep path, which will take you to Kamnati vrh in less than 5 minutes.
