Krnice - Dom v Gorah

Access to the starting point:
From Sevnica or Celje, drive to Zidani Most, where you head towards Hrastnik. Follow this very narrow road to where the road to the village Cirque heads off to the right through an underpass. The turn-off is marked. Follow the road to one of the small car parks along the road, but there are not many of them. Park before you reach the village.
From Hrastnik, drive towards Zidane Most, but only as far as the turn-off for the village Cirque. Here we turn left into the underpass. . . Continue following the above description.

Path description:
From the parking lot, continue along the road and it will soon lead you to the village. The road then takes us through the village and at the last house in the village it changes to cart track, which descends for a few steps and leads us to a crossroads. Here we follow the upper left cart track, which crosses a grassy slope in a slight cross-climb. The path, which continues along cart track and is well marked, goes into the forest after this. After a few minutes of further walking, you reach a crossroads where you leave cart track. Here we head slightly left up towards Gor (Gore), straight ahead on the Sovretova cesta. The path climbs moderately and then descends for a few steps. Here the path from Šavna peć joins us from the right. Continue straight ahead on the wide path, which climbs crossways over slopes that are quite steep in places. The path through the forest also climbs quite steeply from time to time. After an hour's walk, the path leads to the wide folded cart track, which is followed to the right. Cart track then leads us past St George's Church to the mountain home in the mountains.
