Liboje (Liko) - Sveta Neža (Liboje)

Access to the starting point:
The starting point can be reached from the A1 motorway, taking the Žalec exit. At the roundabout, take the exit towards Arja vas. When you reach Arja vas, follow the main road all the way to the end until you reach a large semaphore-controlled crossroads. Go straight ahead to Petrovčee. Cross the railway line and pass the church. When you get out of Petrovci, you will soon reach Kasaze. Follow the main road and you will soon reach Liboje. As you pass through three quarters of the settlement, you will see a wooden signpost on the right pointing towards the hill and the Church of St Neža. Continue a little further past the sign for Košnica pri Celju and past the company Liko, d. d. You will pass a large apartment house on the left. Just after the end of the town and after the Liboje sign, you can park your car on the large macadam road by the side of the road. We are at the starting point.

Path description:
From the macadam parking lot, follow the road back to Liboje. Watch out for traffic. Soon you will come to a crossroads, which leads straight in our direction and to the right towards Košnica pri Celju. There you will also see the markings of the Slovenian touring and cycling route to Šmohor. The marking is blue with a white line in the middle. Walk straight ahead on the pavement of the main road. We pass the Liko company. Shortly afterwards, we see the wooden signpost for St Nežo again. It leads us uphill to the left. Follow the road and observe the beautiful meadows in the surroundings. After a few metres we see the church and the parish house. It is about a 10-minute walk uphill. The road is slightly winding and has public lighting. Soon you reach the chapel, the church and the top of the hill, where the aforementioned parish house is.
You can look around and enjoy the beautiful day. You can also reach the top by car.
