Log - Pečke (via Meranovo)

Access to the starting point:
From the road Maribor - Ruše, in the village Bistrica ob Dravi, turn left (right from the route of Ruše) towards Log. Continue through Log, and just before the end of the settlement, you will see a wooden bridge on the left with signs for Meranova. Park in a suitable place on the roadside near the bridge.

Path description:
From the starting point, walk to the wooden bridge, cross it, and then continue along the bushes to the edge of the forest, where you go left. A little further on, the path crosses a slope and starts to climb on the older logging trail, and at the crossroads follow the logging trail, along which a fainter path continues. Higher up, there is a little more cross-climbing to the left, reaching a marked crossroads at Meranovo, where you continue to the right towards Pečky and Bolfenok.
We continue along the macadam road, which leads us past the Honey Trail to the farm where the descent ends after a few minutes.
We continue towards Pečki and start climbing along the wider cart track. Continuing from the northern slopes, we gradually move to the western slopes, which continue a slightly longer cross-climb. At a higher level, cross a stream and climb steeply after it. The steepness quickly subsides and then the crossing continues. A little further on, cross another stream and climb gently up the eastern slopes to a crossroads where you join the steep path. Go left here and within a minute's walk you will reach the Doma na Pečkah (Home on Pečkah).
