Logatec - Sekirica (past ski jumping hills)

Access to the starting point:
a) From the motorway Ljubljana - Koper take the exit Logatec, and at the next few junctions and roundabouts continue straight ahead, i. e. on the main road. After the Hofer store, turn left onto the first road, where you will see signs indicating that the parking lot is about 350 m away. Park in the large gravel parking lot under the football pitch.
b) From the old road Logatec - Kalce, drive to the roundabout by the MOL petrol station and from there continue towards the motorway. After about 300 m from the roundabout, turn right onto the dirt road, which then leads past a large chapel to a large dirt parking lot under a football pitch.

Path description:
From the parking lot, follow the road that led to the starting point back to the chapel, then continue left (from the route of access to the starting point, right). Continue across the meadow, at the foot of Sekirica, where there is a fenced pasture. The path leads under the pasture, and then quickly reaches a sign (cross), where you continue left along cart track, after which you reach the ski jumps in a few minutes. After the three smaller ski jumps and before the larger one, turn left onto a path which climbs steeply up the slope. With occasional fine views of the surroundings and the ski jumps, you quickly reach the top of the smaller ski jumps and, a little further on, the springboard of the large ski jump, along which you climb for a short distance. Higher up, the trail leads under a drawbridge, and then in a few steps you reach the top of Sekirica.
