Lokve - Črni vrh (at Lokve)

Access to the starting point:
a) First drive to Solkan, then continue to Sveta Gora, Grgarje, Čepovan, Trnovo near Gorizia and Lokva. From the new roundabout at Preval, take the exit towards Lokva and Trnovo pri Gorica, then follow the mostly ascending road to Lokva, where you turn left towards Čepovan and then park after a few 10 metres in a larger, gravel parking lot.
b) Take the Predmeja (to get here from Ajdovščina or Colo), then follow the signs for Lokve. When you arrive at Lokve, turn right towards Čepovan and then after a few 10 metres park in the larger gravel parking lot.

Path description:
From the starting point, continue along the road towards Čepovan, initially walking under the hill where the Church of St. Anthony of Padua stands and past the Lokve rescue dog training ground. A little further on, you will see the NOB memorial on the right and go straight ahead from the nearby crossroads. A little over 50 metres further on, you reach the next crossroads, where you leave the road towards Čepovan and continue slightly left on the road, which begins to climb. After a short climb, the road passes into the forest and splits a little further on at a resting place where there is an interesting stone.
Continue on the left road (the right road leads to a nearby house), which is crossed a little further on by the marked Za zidom trail (the Za zidom trail is an easier hiking trail that leads around the village of Lokve), and we continue on the road, which, with increasingly beautiful views, continues all the way to Črnega vrha.
