Mala voda - Koreno

Access to the starting point:
From Horjul or Dobrova, drive to Polhov Gradec, then continue to Gorenjska vas. Continue through Briše and then along the Mala voda river. At the road marker between 4 and 3. 5 km, you will see a road on your left, which crosses the aforementioned river via a small bridge. Take the road and park in a suitable parking space just after the bridge.

Path description:
From the bridge, continue along the macadam road, which climbs gently parallel to the river. Continue past a dwelling house on the left, the road makes a left turn at a trestle and then climbs cross-country across a grassy hillside with a view. Higher up, the road passes into woods and then climbs moderately to an unmarked crossroads. At the crossroads, continue left along the road, which gradually becomes fully surfaced and then climbs gently to the next crossroads, where you continue left downhill towards Koreno (if you continue straight ahead you can reach Kožljek).
From the crossroads continue along the asphalt road, which first descends, then after crossing a torrential stream it turns into a lane of a forest. The forest ends quickly and the road leads us to the homestead Lešnjak, which we go around on the right hand side. At the homestead the descent ends and we start to climb through the forest a few 10 steps further. We climb through the forest for a few minutes, then gradually arrive in a more grassy world, where a little further on, at the hamlet of Ulaka, we join the road leading to Koreno from Horjul.
Follow the road to the left, which leads you past the open farm at Janš. Behind the farm, first a steep road from Horjul joins us from the right, and a few steps further on, a sloping road from Horjul. Continue along the road, which offers increasingly beautiful views of the surrounding hills, the Ljubljana Marshes, the Krim, etc. At the first small unmarked crossroads, turn right, and at the second one, at the Open Door Farm at Lenart, turn left at the marked crossroads in the direction of the lookout post and the stamp.
From the farm, there is only a short climb along the scenic road towards the Church of Sts. The church, which has a viewing platform and a table with two benches next to it, can be reached quickly, but the nearby summit is inaccessible due to private land.
