Access to the starting point:
The start of the route can be practically in the centre of the city at the beginning of the city park by the sign for the Kozjak trail, or anywhere in the park up to Treh rybniki.
By car, exit Melje on the expressway through Maribor and continue along the railway station, at the first junction without traffic lights turn left along Tomšičeva Street, also the famous alley in the direction of Ribniško selo and park the vehicle somewhere near the park.
Path description:
At the beginning of the City Park, by the sign "The path over Kozjak", or by the Three Ponds, there is a concrete start of the route. It is easy to follow the mountain trail practically from the urban Maribor itself through Ribniško selo. Halfway along Terčeva Street, the path over Kozjak turns right, while we continue straight to the end of the above-mentioned street, which is mainly lined with terraced houses. At the crossroads turn left onto the Walking Trail, immediately to the right of the trail are the premises of the Three Ponds Community Centre and the building of a closed grocery store. Continue on an easy uphill climb between houses and cottages, the tarmac becomes well-trodden macadam and somewhere the summit with the Chapel of St Rosalie is in sight pretty much all the time. In front of the chapel, where there is a nice lookout point, turn left and follow the pleasant path higher up through the forest to the highest point. . . Solitary Pine, the trail's destination. The summit is unmarked and does not offer views.

Hvala...Ta opis je moj skromen prispevek/poklon štajerski metropoli - Mariboru...Priporočam še tri nadaljevanja dalje v svet Kozjaka/Kobanskega...Sv. Urban, Sv. Križ/Gaj nad Mariborom in Petnikov vrh. Morda še kakšen opis v prihodnosti dodam, trenutno je pa to,to. Lp

Napišem še tukaj :-) To je kapela sv. Ane in ne sv. Rozalije.

Lp, Nino

Pozimi je razgled, poleti pa res ne. Če meni ne verjamete glede poimenovanja kapele, pa vprašajte frančiškane, ki skrbijo zanjo: https://www.bazilika.info/
