Mislinja - Fričev vrh (via Črepič)

Access to the starting point:
a) From the motorway Ljubljana - Maribor, take the exit Žalec and then continue in the direction of Velenje. At the main roundabout in Velenje, turn right (towards Dravograd and Slovenj Gradec) and follow the main road to Mislinja, where you can park in one of the car parks (you can park in the gravel car park at the junction where the road to Mislinja graben turns off to the right, or in the vicinity of the main bus station).
b) From Koroška, take the first exit to Slovenj Gradec and then continue to Velenje. When you arrive in Mislinja, park in the car park next to the main bus station, or a little further on in the gravel car park next to the road to Mislinja graben.

Path description:
At the main bus stop in Mislinja we see the mountain direction signs for Črepič, which direct us to the old railway line (now a cycle path) towards Dravograd. At first we walk along the cycle path, then we arrive at a marked crossroads, where the path to Završe branches off to the left, and we continue straight on towards the top of Črepič.
Continue on the cycle path, which leads us slightly further over a bridge with a yellow fence. Just 10 m after the bridge, signs for Črepič direct us left onto a footpath that climbs steeply through the forest. The path soon becomes a bit steeper, but continues to climb relatively steeply along and along the woded ridge. After a climb of about half an hour, the path completely flattens out and leads out of the forest past a small forage patch and onto a hayfield. Continue past the abandoned hayloft on the path that returns to the forest, which after 2 minutes of further walking leads us to the woded Črepič.
From Črepič, continue along the marked path towards Fričeva vrh. After a short descent, we step onto the wide cart track and follow it to the left, which quickly leads us out of the forest and onto the wide meadows, where we also step onto the road. Follow the road quickly to a chapel, beyond which is an unmarked crossroads. Continue along the upper right-hand road, which climbs gently and turns left at a higher level, where it quickly leads to a narrow lane wod. Leave the road here and continue to the right along the waymarked path which continues along the edge of the forest. The path continues to climb gently through the forest and soon leads us to the inexpressive Časov vrh.
From Časov vrh, continue along the pleasant forest path which descends to the saddle between the aforementioned summit and Fričevi vrh. From here we continue for a short time on the less well-trodden cart track, and then the signs direct us to the right on an ascending footpath, which in less than 15 minutes of further walking will take us to Fričev vrh.
