Moravske Toplice - Plečnik's church (Bogojina)

Access to the starting point:
a) Exit the Pomurje motorway at exit Gančani, then follow the signs for Bogojina and Moravske Toplice. At Bogojina, turn left and drive to Moravske Toplice, where you can park in one of several car parks.
b) Take Murska Sobota and then follow the signs for Moravske Toplice. When you arrive at Moravske Toplice, park in one of the car parks in the centre of the village.

Path description:
From the parking lot, walk to the Evangelical Church in Moravske Toplice, then continue along the pavement towards Dobrovnik, and walk along the main road only to the first crossroads, where you will turn left after the Lanen flower shop, where you will also be directed by the signs. Continue straight ahead to the end of the street, then turn right towards Bogojina (left Selo and Kančevci). Continue walking on the pavement, and after a few minutes the signs for Bogojina direct you left, and a little further on, at the pedestrian crossing, slightly right in the direction of the markings. The way forward leads us past the fire station, leave the pavement a little further on and continue slightly right in the direction of the Notik apartments. Continue past a few more houses, and at the end of the settlement, signs lead you over a small bridge to cart track, which continues across a field. When you reach the asphalt road, go right, and a little further on, turn left onto the macadam road, from which you turn sharp right a little further on. Lane quickly leaves the forest through which we have been passing and between the fields we reach the next crossroads, where we go right. There is an easy descent, then go left and continue between the fields. At the next crossroads, direction signs direct you to the left, and when you reach the bottom edge of the vineyards, go right to continue along the grassy cart track. When a passage opens up between the vineyards, go left and follow the marked path steeply up to the tarmac road, which you follow straight ahead at the crossroads. Also, when you reach the crossing of the priority road, continue straight ahead and continue along the dead-end. At the end of a few houses, the road ends and we continue in the same direction, following cart track. Signs for the Pomurska planinsko trail direct us a little further right into the forest, where we descend slightly, and when we reach the grassy cart track we go left. Cart track leads us quickly into the forest, where we follow the markings, and we walk along a less visible path. Lower down, cross a small bridge over a stream, then leave the woods and cross a meadow and climb alongside a field to the edge of the woods, where the path turns left and continues along cart track between two fields. When we reach the route of the power line, the markings on the pole point us right up the track, and we climb across the meadow to the wood where the track reappears, and the markings lead us slightly to the left.
At the bus stop Vučja Gomila you reach an asphalt road, which you just cross. Continue alongside the house, then along the fields. A little further on, the path widens into a road, and we continue straight ahead from the crossroads, and at the next crossroads to the right, both times in the direction of the waymarked path. The path ahead begins to descend along the fields, and lower down you reach another road, which you follow to the right. A little further on, pass another farm, after which the descent continues along cart track, which turns into woods and lays down. A few minutes of easy downhill follow, and then you reach a macadam road, along which you continue in the direction of Bogojina. There is some walking on the dirt road, and when you reach the asphalt road, you descend a little more visibly. At the crossroads, go straight ahead, turn left at the cemetery and left again at the roundabout. There is only a short easy climb to Plečnik's church in Bogojina.
