Okroglice - Sveti Lovrenc above Okroglice

Access to the starting point:
From Zasavje or Celje, drive to Zidani Most and from there continue to Sevnica. Just a few metres before the road crosses the Sava River, turn left towards the villages of Loka and Breg. Follow this road to the village of Breg, where the sign for Lisca directs you to the left uphill. Continue along the road as it climbs and leads to a crossroads in the village of Lisce. Here turn left in the direction of Razbor and Lovrenc. After a short descent, you reach the next crossroads, where you turn right and continue steeply downhill towards Okroglice and St. Lovrenec. When the road stops descending, park in one of the roadside car parks in front of the village of Okroglice.
From Trebnje or Krško drive towards Sevnica and just after the bridge you cross turn left in the direction of the villages of Orehovo and Breg. When the road leads to the village of Breg, turn right towards Lisce. Continue as described above.

Path description:
From the parking lot, continue along the road along which you parked. The road then soon leads us to the village, where we see a chapel by the roadside, after which we turn right at the agritourism up towards Lovrenc. The road, which mostly climbs, leads us slightly higher to two consecutive unmarked crossroads. In both cases, continue to the right and the road leads you along an increasingly scenic slope to a small pass. It is at the highest point that a crossroads is reached, where we continue left towards the church, which we have been seeing for some time. Follow the road past the St Lovrenc outpost to where an unmarked footpath branches off the road. Orientation in this part is easy in fine weather. It is a climb through a meadow with a view to the church of Saint Lovrenc, which can be reached in a few minutes.
