a) Zapeljemo se v Kočevje, kjer iz semaforiziranega križišča nadaljujemo v smeri naselja Koprivnik. V nadaljevanju se peljemo mimo pokopališča, nato pa se Kočevje konča in cesta nas vodi skozi naselja Cvišlerji in Zgornji Cvišlerji. Ko prispemo do naselja Onek se pri informativni tabli prične opisana pot, parkiramo pa lahko že nekoliko prej na primernem mestu ob cesti.
b) Iz Črnomlja se peljemo proti Kočevje, malo pred naseljem Nemška Loka pa zavijemo desno proti Koprivniku. Iz Koprivnika sledimo oznakam za Kočevje, ko prispemo v naselje Onek pa se pri informativni tabli prične opisana pot, parkiramo na primernem mestu nekje v bližini.

a) Take the Kočevje exit from the semaphore crossroads in the direction of Koprivnik. Then Kočevje ends and the road leads through the settlements of Cvišlerji and Zgornji Cvišlerji. When you reach Onek, the route starts at the information board, and you can park a little earlier at a suitable place along the road.
b) From Črnomelj, drive towards Kočevje, and just before Nemška Loka, turn right towards Koprivnik. From Koprivnik, follow the signs for Kočevje, and when you arrive at Onek, park at a suitable place nearby.

From the starting point, continue along the asphalt road towards Koprivnik, and shortly after the road sign marking the end of the Kočevje settlement, the road to Mačkovec branches off to the right. Continue straight ahead, and when the road turns left, leave it and continue straight across the meadow, where you will also find the Roška cesta signs. Cross the meadow, where the path is not visible, and climb straight up, returning to the road after a few minutes. Walk along the road for a short distance and then go slightly left to cart track, along which the Roška Trail markers (bear-foot markers) continue.

From the starting point, continue along the asphalt road towards Koprivnik, and shortly after the road sign marking the end of the Onek settlement, the road to Mačkovec branches off to the right. Continue straight ahead, and when the road turns left, leave it and continue straight across the meadow, where you will also find the Roška cesta signs. Cross the meadow, where the path is not visible, and climb straight up, returning to the road after a few minutes. Walk along the road for a short distance and then go slightly left to cart track, along which the Roška Trail markers (bear-foot markers) continue.
The track soon narrows and curves slightly to the left, and after a bend, turn right off the track onto an initially less well-trodden path. A few minutes of climbing through the woods is followed, and then you reach the route of the power line, where the path continues on a moderate ascent. Higher up, the path returns to the forest and turns slightly more to the right and climbs across a wooded slope. When the forest thins out, you can see the transmitters ahead and, a little further ahead, the chapel and hunting lodge at Lovski vrh.
