Pečovje - Almin dom na Svetini (via Srebotnik)

Access to the starting point:
From the Ljubljana - Maribor motorway, take the Celje exit and follow the road towards Laško. Shortly after Celje (before Laško), the road to Celjska Koča turns left (at the traffic lights) over a bridge. On the other side of the bridge over the Savinja River, continue to the right and the road leads you through an underpass under the railway line to the village of Zagrad. Continue along the road, which most of the time runs along the Ločnica stream and leads you higher up to the village of Zvodno. The road then turns left and leads to a crossroads, where you continue to the right. After a further 100m drive, the road to Štory branches off to the left (access is also possible from this direction). Continue straight ahead and then park in the parking lot on the roadside.

Path description:
From the parking lot continue along the road, which leads us past a few houses to a crossroads, where we continue left in the direction of Barbara's March. Continue along the wide footpath, which after a few minutes of moderate ascent branches off to the left over the ridge. Here, continue slightly right and the path comes fully close to the forest road that you left a few minutes ago. The way ahead takes us along the left-hand side of the road and, higher up, we rejoin the above-mentioned road, which has since changed to cart track. Continue straight up towards Srebotnik (Svetina, Tolsti vrh and Celjska koča on the left) along the path, which climbs steeper and steeper. The already steep path, however, leads us higher up to a vegetated ridge, where it climbs even steeper. Follow this steep and, especially in wet conditions, dangerous route to the top of Srebotnik.
From the top, continue along the very steep path (slip hazard), which turns left after a few minutes of descent and lays down. The path continues on a rather overgrown slope, on an increasingly wide path, which soon leads us to a worse forest road, where there is a crossroads (left Štore, right Celjska koča). Continue straight on the path, which only crosses the road and climbs up the relatively steep cart track. After a few minutes, the steepness eases and the path leads us over a scenic slope, from which we have a view of the nearby Tolsti vrh. Next, cart track climbs again and leads us higher to a crossroads where we continue slightly left across the meadow in the direction of Barbara's March. At the top of the meadow, the path leads to a minor road, where we continue to the left. Follow this road, which climbs slightly, to Alma's home in Svetina.
