Phliški bajer - Mengeška koča on Gobavica (lower path)

Access to the starting point:
a) Leave the Gorenjska motorway at the Vodice exit, then continue driving towards Kamnik, then turn slightly right in Vodice towards Bukovica. Continue along the road towards Mengeš, and follow it to the crossroads at the end of the settlement of Koseze, where you turn right at the bus stop in the direction of Šinkov Turn and Rašica. A few 10 metres further on, leave the asphalt road and turn left onto the macadam road towards Rašica and Mengeš huts. When you leave the main road, park at a suitable place along the road, or a little further along the Phliška or Koseška bajerje.
b) Take the Mengeš, then from the main crossroads in the centre of Mengeš, continue driving towards Kranj. A little further on from the main road, turn slightly left onto the road towards Vodice. At the beginning of Koseze, you will reach a crossroads, where at the bus stop turn left in the direction of Šinkov Turn and Rašica. A few 10 metres further, leave the asphalt road and turn left onto the macadam road in the direction of Rašica and Mengeš huts. When you leave the main road, park at a suitable place along the road, or a little further along the Phliška or Koseška bayer.

Path description:
From the starting point continue in the direction of Rašica, Dobeno and Mengeš huts, then turn right before Phliškim or Koseški bajer. Continue along the lake, and when the western "shore" ends, turn left, along the lake for a while, and then sharp right, onto cart track, which climbs up the slope transversely. The waymarked path soon turns back to the left, and we follow the waymarked path at the crossroads, and a little further along it we reach a waymarked crossroads.
From the crossroads continue in the direction of the lower path to Mengeš hut (slightly left ridge path to Mengeš hut, right ridge path to Rašica), where you walk a few steps further along cart track, and then the markings direct you left onto the forest path. Walking with a few short descents and ascents follows, following the markings at the crossroads. After a few minutes, you will reach the next crossroads, where you will once again choose the path below. We then approach the macadam road and the signs lead us to the left, over a short, slightly overgrown section, and then we arrive at the next crossroads, where we join the ridge path.
Continue right, following cart track in the direction of Mengeš hut, and the path leads out of the woods onto a hayfield, which you walk along to the nearby trestle. At the hayloft, go left and climb into the woods past a bench. Through the forest, we climb steeply and then quickly reach the Mengeš hut on Gobavica via a short lookout from which the view reaches all the way to the Alps.
