Pišnica - Mihov dom na Vršiču

Access to the starting point:
First drive to Kranjska Gora, then continue driving towards the Vrh Leh pass, just after the guesthouse and the Jasna lake, you will reach the bridge over the Pišnica river, next to which you will park in a small parking lot. You can also park a few 10 m back in the larger parking lot next to the TNP sign.

Path description:
Just before the bridge over the Velika Pišnica river, a macadam road branches off to the left, leading to Cirque and towards Mihov's home. Take the above-mentioned road, which continues along the edge of the river and then passes into the lane of the forest, where it gradually begins to climb. The road quickly leaves the forest and continues to lead us along the ever narrower Velika Pišnica. Following the gently sloping path, we reach a fork in the path at the memorial to the fallen mountaineers in Mountain pasture in Klin. Here our path branches off to the right, as clearly visible signs warn us (to the left the path goes to Cirque). Continue along the path by the monument and cross the lookout clearing to Mountain pasture in Kline. At the end of the clearing, in front of the stream, you will see a bridge about 20 m away on your right, which will allow you to cross the stream safely and dry. After a short climb we reach the grave of Miha Arih, next to a large parking area. Follow the signs and a short stretch of forest road leading to Vršiška cesta. After a few minutes of further walking, our path branches off to the left from the road onto a wide forest path (sign Mihov dom 10 minutes). We have a few more minutes of slightly steeper climbing on the wide forest path, crossing the Vršiška cesta and we are already standing in the courtyard of Mihov's home.
