Planina Kisovec - Črnuški dom na Mali planini

Access to the starting point:
First, we drive to Kamnik, then we continue our drive towards the Črnivec Pass. Just 100 m before the pass, we see signs for Kranjski Rak, which direct us sharp left onto a narrow and initially quite steep road. The road is then positioned higher and leads to the Volovjek (Kranjski Rak) pass, where we continue to the left in the route Velika planina. Here the road loses its asphalt coating and we follow it to a well-marked crossroads, where we continue along the road on the left (direction mountain pasture Kisovec). The road continues to climb for some time, then lays down and leads us out of the forest to mountain pasture Kisovec. In the middle of the descent, a marked footpath branches off to the right, leading to Velika planina, and we follow the road a little further on, to a marked and well-maintained parking lot.
From Gornji Grad we head towards Kamnik, and then just a few 100 m after the Črnivec pass we continue right in the direction of Kranjski Rak. Continue as described above.
From the Savinjska valley, first drive to Luce, then continue towards Kamnik. When you reach the Volovjek pass, turn right in the direction Velika planina. Continue as described above.

Path description:
From the parking lot, we return along the road a little way back, and then the signs for Velika planina direct us to a wide and winding footpath, which takes us in a few 10 steps to reach the Jule pasture. Go around the pasture on the left and continue along the gently sloping path, which leads you in a few minutes into the forest, where it first crosses a pasture fence and then joins the path from the valley. Follow the marked path to the right, which gradually starts to climb steeper and steeper. After a good half an hour of relatively steep ascent, the path levels off and leads to the lower edge of the mountain pasture grazing areas of Mala. The gently ascending path then leads us past some shepherd's huts, and then leads us to a marked crossroads where we continue slightly left in the direction of Črnuški dom. The way forward is slightly more ascending, and then quickly leads us to the aforementioned mountain home.
