Podsreda - Stara sveta gora (by road)

Access to the starting point:
a) Drive to Šentjur (to get here from Celje, the Štajerska motorway exit Dramlja or Šmarij pri Jelšah), then follow the signs for Kozje and Mountain pasture near Sevnica. At the end of Šentjur, continue straight on towards Kozje (Planina pri Sevnici on the right), then drive through Lesično, Kozje to Podsreda, where you park in the parking lot next to the fire station building and the residents' home.
b) Drive to Brestanica (to get here from Sevnica or Krško), then follow the signs for Senovo and then Podsreda. At Podsreda go left towards Kozje (right Bistrica ob Sotli), and when you get to the firemen's and residents' home, park in the parking lot next to the building.

Path description:
From the parking lot, walk to the south side of the building, and after it, turn left along the narrow asphalt road, which begins to climb. The path initially leads past the Chapel of St Florian, but forks after the next chapel.
Continue along the road (left path by the Stations of the Cross), which continues through the woods, and behind an older house, gradually descend the slope into a small valley. The narrower road forks a little higher up and we continue left towards Zgornje Gradišče (right Spodnje Gradišče). When you reach the hamlet, follow the left direction. There is some more cross-country climbing, and when we join the path by the Stations of the Cross, we go right and walk to the Church of Our Lady of the Seven Sorrows, above which there is also the Chapel of St Anne.
