Podvelka - Hlebov vrh (Rdeči Breg) (via Viltužnik)

Access to the starting point:
The starting point is also accessible by car, which can be left in the nearby parking lot in front of the Podvelka Post Office.

Path description:
The starting point is in Podvelka, below the Irena bar, where you can leave your car. Continue past the bar along a steep road. The valley of the Veljka stream is on your right. After a ten-minute walk, you will first cross a macadam forest road, then a sign points you right uphill. Follow the signs through the forest and you will come to steps leading to the forest road. Turn right and follow the road until the signpost points left into the forest at the tractor track logging trail. Continue along the logging trail, which leads to Viltužnik's meadow, where you will have a view of Kozjak and the Drava valley. Continue past ˝Hochstand˝ and cross the forest road again, turning steeply into the forest. As you walk along, a view of the village of Brezno and Janževski Vrh opens up on your right. After 10 minutes of walking, the steep slope ends and then we have 5 minutes to reach the Church of St Ignatius. The highest point Hlebov Vrh 913 m is located a stone's throw away from the church.
