Pogačnikov dom na Kriških podih - Prisank / Prisojnik

Access to the starting point:
Leave the Gorenjska motorway at the Hrušica exit and follow the road towards Kranjska Gora. Just before the village of Dovje, the road branches off to the left and leads to Mojstrana (Vrata, Kot and Krma). Follow the road in the direction of the Vrata valley and follow it to the large parking lot near the Aljaž's home. From the Aljaž's house follow the signs to Pogačnik's house at Kriške podi; contribution: Aljaž's house in Vrata - Pogačnik's house at Kriške podi (via Sovatna).

Path description:
From Pogačnik's home, we head towards Razorja and Križa along a path that descends slightly and soon leads to a crossroads. The path descends slightly and is then stopped by a rocky jump. Climb it using fixed safety gear and at the top of the jump continue left on a slightly exposed rock slab. On the other side of this slab, you will find yourself on scree again. Continue towards the Planja saddle, where the paths to Razor and Planja branch off.
Go over the saddle and turn slightly right in the direction of Vršič (Planja on the left, Razor on the far right).
Follow the path along the western slope of Razor, which descends gently all the way. After a steeper descent and climbing down, a slightly less steep descent follows to reach a grassy saddle. A smaller path runs parallel to the top of the saddle towards Škrbina. Be careful not to descend too far into the valley, as this path leads towards Vršič ("Jubilee path"). Our path starts immediately to climb steeply with the help of rope cables. After Škrbina, the path becomes even more difficult. A slightly less demanding path follows, then turns slightly to the right and brings us in front of the most difficult part. The path first crosses a vertical slope to the left and then climbs almost vertically towards the Last Window. The descent into the Window, where freshly broken rocks fallen from the ceiling can be seen. Even in late summer, we can be surprised by snow. Then climb up the west side, where we get a view of the Cirque. Here the path turns left and then crosses the exposed slopes to the west for some time. When we reach the ridge again, the path becomes less exposed and we join a path on the left which branches off from the Slovenian path and crosses the southern slopes. Again, the steeper northern slopes are crossed, followed by some more exposed scrambling, and then a steep climb to reach the southern slopes of the mountain again. Continue slightly right up the mountain and soon join the Grebenska and Slovenska trails to Prisank. From here it is just a short climb up the southern slope to the summit, which rewards you with a magnificent view.
