Access to the starting point:
a) By train. . . Ponikva railway station.
b) By car. . . Leave the motorway at exit Dramlje and continue towards Šentjur. After three kilometres at the Dole roundabout, continue in the direction of Ponikva and after a total of approximately seven kilometres reach the railway line. You can park safely in front of the level crossing. The railway station is on the other side of the line and a little further to the right.
Path description:
Follow the asphalt road along the stream towards Zagaj pri Ponikvi. After one and a half kilometres, the asphalt surface turns to macadam and you follow it through the forest. Soon you will reach a small settlement of houses and, if well marked, continue through the yard of one of the homesteads to a meadow path. The grass path becomes a forest path and then leads along several ponds and through the forest to a chapel. From the chapel, continue through Razbor, turn left at the first crossroads and soon right downhill under a road viaduct, where you cross a small watercourse, and cross to the other side of the motorway. Continue across the meadow, through the farmyard of the farmhouse and by the wooden horse corral reach the more concrete Vodulee. From the flat part of Vodul, there is a climb along an asphalt road and then along narrower paths surrounded by vineyards/walled houses. Higher up, a crossroads is reached, with St Ursula on the right and the home of PD Dramlje in a former forestry. Of course, due to the proximity of a good hundred metres, we make a tour and continue down or left from the crossroads into the valley behind Dramlje. On the asphalt road, which is in a steady decline and is easy to follow, we soon reach the Church of St. Ilija on the right side of the path. Centuries ago the church was the central parish church and the seat of the Dramlje parish. Today it has been beautifully restored and is the pride of the area between the Celje Hills and Konjiška Gora/Žička Carthusian Monastery.
After a short visit, continue downhill for a good hundred metres and at the crossroads turn left to the centre Dramlje or Svetelka, to the right is the asphalt road to Pletovarje or Straža na gora (over the pass also the Žička Carthusian). After a good hundred metres turn right again to the centre above the school or the NOB monument. . . by the cooperative shop to the left and the cemetery to the right. Further on you reach the intermediate goal of the trail, which is visible from afar the Sveta Marija Magdalena church in Dramlje.
After a short visit, continue along the marked mountain trail in a southerly direction. This is now also the XIVth Division route in the opposite direction and the main mountain trail linking the Celjske hills and Konjiška Gora. Continue under the parish into the forest, the path is well marked, leads up and down, crossing two meadow clearings, in times of rainfall this area can be partly marshy. After a short climb, you reach an asphalt road, which you immediately cross and, passing a farm building, continue along the meadow path down by the electricity pylons to the other bank. To the right of the path, a building - an important landmark, an animal shelter, also a barking greeting, so the path is really easy to follow. Reach the tarmac access road to the shelter and climb a few dozen metres to a junction. Turn right at the crossroads and, with excellent signage, follow the tarmac link between the farmhouses and the cottages through the hamlet of Cerovec. Somewhere at the end of the settlement, the populated part behind us in the more distinct embrace of the forest, we turn left, we can already hear the noise from the nearby motorway, we follow the signs and soon reach the destination of the route today. . . the Partisan Hospital Zima directly next to the guard fence of the motorway route. The total length of the route from Ponikva/Hotunj is about 10 kilometres, 430 positive vertical metres and 415 negative vertical metres.

Discussion about the trail Ponikva/Hotunje - Partisan hospital Zima (via Sveta Uršula and through Dramlje)

Izrazitih vrhov tukaj ni zato odločitev za opis sekundarnih ciljev ob poti, ribnikov, treh cerkva vsaka nekje z izrazito lego v prostoru in partizanske bolnice. Predvsem v uporabi s strani domačinov v osnovnih kratkih rekreacijskih ciljih.

Ob slikah obujam spomine, v drugem delu so kraji in poti mojega otroštva.

To pot hodim dve uri...Za portal sem jo opisal leta 2014/15 in meri v dolžino 10 kilometrov, morda nekaj sto metrov več ob 430 pozitivnih in 415 negativnih višinskih metrih...Realen čas je nekje 3 ure. Povezovalne poti med posameznimi hribovji so mi všečne, ker omogočajo odličen vpogled v nekaj nižji svet in ,,patino,, preteklih desetletij, ko so bile vsaj lokalno bolj obljudene zaradi manj motorizacije...Želim vama prijeten, varen in klen korak!
