Prelože pri Lokvi - Obrovnik

Access to the starting point:
From the Ljubljana - Koper motorway, take the Divača exit and then continue towards Divaca. Just before Divača turn left towards the village Lokev, and in Lokva turn sharp left towards Prelož. Continue for another 200 m to the next crossroads, from where you turn right in the direction of the village Prelože and the top of Veliko Gradišče and Kokoš. When the village Lokev ends, the road starts to climb and quickly leads to the village Prelože near Lokva, where we start our journey. There are no suitable parking places in this village, and there are not many parking opportunities further down the road.

Path description:
From the starting point, first walk to the village Prelože pri Lokvi, and from there continue along the marked trail, initially a road. Above the village, the asphalt ends and the dirt road ahead quickly turns into a rough cart track. Higher up, the cart track, which climbs moderately through the forest, ascends slightly steeper and leads to a crossroads at the Vroček spring.
From the spring, turn right (left Veliko Gradišče) and continue along cart track, which climbs gently for a while before flattening out and turning left. As cart track begins to descend gently, it turns right and gradually leads into an increasingly sparse forest. A few minutes of descending follow, and soon we become aware of a red arrow on a rock on the right. At this rock, turn right onto a trackless path and look for the best passages all the way to the small meadow below the summit. Continue across the meadow to the vegetated summit. The crossing is about 10 minutes.
