Preval Hlevišče - Koprivnik (via Brdo)

Access to the starting point:
Take the Poljane nad Škofjo Loko, from where you continue towards Javorje from the semaphore crossroads. When you arrive in Javorje, from the junction after the Inn Blegoš, turn left towards Blegoš and Stari vrh, and at the next junctions follow the signs for Blegoš. When you reach the pass Hleviše, which you can identify by the road to the left leading to the Church of the Assumption on Gora, park in a suitable place at the crossroads.

Path description:
From the starting point, follow the road as it branches off from the prevala to the north-east and begins to climb. You will quickly reach a small crossroads where you go left and then climb up two serpentines to a nearby farmhouse, which you pass on your right, where you follow the cart track. When the cart track turns left a little higher up, go straight onto the grassy cart track, and then a little higher up, join the wider cart track, which leads us out of the woods to a lookout hayfield, which offers a fine view of Mladi and Stari vrh. Higher up, we pass a hunting observation post, then merge with the path that starts at the Javorje POŠ, and we continue straight into the forest, where the path splits.
Slightly to the left, the trail continues between the mountains and the trail to Koprivnik, and slightly to the right, the trail leads to Mladi vrh.
Continue slightly to the left and follow the path along a less well-made dirt road, which continues for some time without any major changes in elevation. Continue slightly to the left, and when the road starts to climb, at a marked crossroads continue along the road towards Koprivnika (left Path between the mountains). After the crossroads, the road turns right and then ascends crosswise to the Brdo pass, where there is a marked crossroads.
Continue along the road on the left in the direction of Koprivnik (straight road which leads down into the Selška valley or to Zapreval, on the right along the marked path Mladi vrh), and walk along it until you reach a point where the signs for Koprivnik direct you to the right onto a footpath which begins to climb through the forest. The way ahead leads us along dirt tracks, where at crossroads we follow the markings, and higher up, with a few clearings, we get a nice view of the neighbouring Mladi vrh. For a while we walk along the relatively well-marked cart track, then it turns into a footpath which takes us through the last meadow into the forest and a little further on to the top of Koprivnik.
