Preval Prosca - Koreno

Access to the starting point:
From Dobrova, drive to Horjul or vice versa. When you reach the village Zaklanec, turn right (from Dobrova) in the direction of Polh Gradec. Follow the road as it climbs up to a small pass, where you will see mountain signposts along the road and a parking area next to them.
You can also get here from Polhov Gradec.

Path description:
Cross the road from the parking lot and you will reach the mountain signs. Here, follow the path in the route Koreno "along the ridge". The trail initially follows cart track, which after a few minutes' walk leads us to a crossroads of two cart tracks. Continue left along the marked cart track, which then leads us out of the forest to a clearing after which the track turns into a footpath. The path becomes very steep and climbs straight up the ridge. After a while, the steepness subsides and the path leads to a larger, pleasant clearing.
The path then crosses a short lane of forest and leads us to a larger grassy slope where we reach a track. Once on the track, continue right to where it starts to descend. Right at the top of the small pass, we turn left and after a few steps we come to a bench where we see markings that were very rare in the meadow we were walking on. The path then continues along cart track, which after a few minutes leads us to the village. After passing the first (last) houses in the village, we come to a poorly marked crossroads, where we continue to the right on the asphalted road, which descends for a short time and soon leads us to the next marked crossroads. Here, continue left along the asphalted road, which after 15 minutes leads to the Open Door Farm pr'Lenart. A few steps further on, you will come to a registration box.
From the box, continue along the road in the direction of the "lokout" to the church at the top of Koren. Behind the church you will see a viewing platform, a bench and a table, which can be reached within a few steps of the viewing walk on the top grassy slope.
