Puštal (Na Dobravi) - Sveti Ožbolt (above Zminec)

Access to the starting point:
a) From the road Medvode - Škofja Loka, at the beginning of Škofja Loka, turn in the direction of Poljanska dolina, then after the Sten tunnel turn right towards Puštal. A little further on, take another right, then go through Puštal, where you go above the Sten tunnel. Just a little further on, a road branches off to the right, crossing the Hrastnica stream. At the crossroads, where there are no parking spaces, the route described above begins.

b) From Poljanska dolina, drive towards Škofja Loka, then turn left before the Sten tunnel towards Puštal, and at the next junction turn right. Continue through Puštal, where you go above the Sten Tunnel. Just a little further on, a road branches off to the right, crossing the Hrastnica stream. At the crossroads, where there are no parking spaces, the route described above begins.

Path description:
From the crossroads, turn right onto the road that crosses the Hrastnica stream via a bridge. A little further on, continue slightly right, and at the trestle take the road slightly left. Follow the ascent to the last house, where you go right and then climb steeply to the edge of the forest.

From the edge of the forest, where there is a cross and a bench, you will have a nice view of Škofja Loka, and the trail turns into the forest and continues along trains and tracks. Higher up, at a few crossroads, follow the markings, and the path gradually lays down and leads past another bench and a cross. After a few minutes of crossing, you pass the 652-metre-high peak Mountain pasture on your right, and when you emerge from the forest, you reach an asphalt road which leads up to St Andrew's Church.
We pass St Andrew's Church on the left and continue walking along the macadam road, from which we can enjoy a beautiful view from the nearby meadow towards our destination, the Church of St Ožbolt. A little further on, we pass the NOB memorial, and the road returns to the forest behind the memorial, where the path from the Krmelj-Blek farm joins us on the left.
Continue straight ahead, then take the steeper track on the left at the fork. Walk for a few minutes along the cart track, then join the macadam road, which you follow to the right, which leads you along the upper edge of the nearby hamlet, where you also pass a chapel. After the chapel, on the grassy part, continue straight ahead or slightly left, and when the road turns into woods, continue right upwards, first along the edge of the woods, and then through the woods along a wooded ridge. There are a few small forks where you follow the signs, and when you emerge from the forest, go first left, then right and continue walking along the increasingly scenic cart track, which leads you along the power lines. Higher up, you reach the Janšč farm, after which you continue straight ahead along a steep mountain path, which will take you up to St Ožbolt's Church in about 10 minutes.
