Access to the starting point:
From Ormož drive towards Ljutomer or vice versa, when you reach the crossroads where the road to Kamenščak and Mekotnjak branches off to the north and the road to Radomerščak starts to the south. There are no parking spaces at the junction.
Path description:
From the crossroads, take the road towards Radomerščak, and the path initially leads you southwards, but after a few minutes it becomes steeper, and at the crossroads you follow the route of the markings. The path continues past several houses, and after a while the path begins to descend gently, and the path from Žerovinci is joined by a path on the right.
Just after the crossroads we arrive in the settlement Cerovec Stanka Vraza, where the road splits. At the fork there is an information board about Stank Vraz, and we continue along the road on the right, which leads past a chapel, and quickly downhill to Stank Vraz's nearby birth house, which we see on the right-hand side of the road.
Go left a little further from the birth house, and soon return to the road, if you were to continue slightly left at the chapel. There is a bit more downhill and the path splits again. Continue on the left path (straight ahead Jeruzalem - the path past the Malek brickworks) towards the footpath to Jeruzalem. Go around the nearby house on the right and then follow cart track down to the forest. Follow the signs through the woods as we continue to descend. When you reach a road at a lower level, go right and then immediately left on a marked dirt road. We start to climb gently along the road, and when the road becomes tarmac we continue along the gravel road to the right, and from there we go left at the electricity pylon to cart track, which climbs along a strip of scrub. Higher up, the path leads through a belt of woodland, and then reaches the arbor in front of a vineyard. Continue along the inside of the fence (taking care to close the 'gate' firmly), and continue climbing along the right-hand edge of the vineyard. At a higher altitude, take a sharp left and climb across to the tarmac road, and when you reach it, take a right and continue climbing to the top, a few minutes away, where there is a church and, a little lower down, a registration box by the parking lot.
Starting point - birthplace 0:30, birthplace - Jeruzalem 0:50.
Description and pictures refer to the situation in September 2022.
