Radovljica - Ojstra peč (via Zjavka)

Access to the starting point:
From the motorway Ljubljana - Jesenice, take the exit Radovljica and then continue in the direction of Radovljica. At the first slightly larger junction, turn left into Radovljica, and then soon left towards Tinaraft. At the next junction, just 10 metres further on, turn right again in the direction of Tinaraft, the Radovljica Collection Centre and the Pusti grad nature trail. Continue along Savska cesta, which descends gently for most of the way, and then, after an underpass under the railway line, leads to a parking lot with signs for the Pusti grad nature trail. Park in the parking lot.

Path description:
At the end of the parking lot, where there is an information board for the nature trail, continue right on the wide path, along which you will see signs for the Fux footbridge. The path immediately enters the forest, through which it descends gently for the most part. At the crossroads, follow the wider path, or the one with the signs for the nature trail. The trail continues past the paintball field and then descends to Fuxova brv, in front of which is Tinaraft d. o. o.
After crossing the Sava River on Fuxova brv, after a few steps of ascent, you reach a pleasant bench overlooking the footbridge and the Sava River.
From the bench continue straight on (right path along the Sava, possible continuation to Šobčev bajer) and after a short climb along cart track you reach the next crossroads where you continue straight on (right Pusti grad across Ravnica). The way ahead leads through the forest, then at the next crossroads continue slightly left in the direction of Kamna Gorica, and after a few further steps you reach a private path where you go around a nearby house. Behind the house, the private path ends and the path leads through a short meadow with a view. The path continues past the statue of the Mother of God of Lourdes and a few more information boards on the nature trail. After a short, slightly steeper climb, we arrive at a small preval (there is a small cross by the preval), where we continue to the left on an unmarked path (right Pusti grad).
After a few steps the path splits again, and we continue on the lower right path (along the Ojstri vrh ridge - the path that bypasses Zjavka). At the next small crossroads we also stick to the right paths, but the moderately steep path quickly leads us to Zjavka, which opens up a nice view.
At Zjavka, after the "lumberyard", continue to the left, where you will come to cart track, which descends slightly, and then leads to a small crossroads, where you will continue on the right cart track. There are a few short ups and downs, and when you reach the marked crossroads, take a sharp left (straight on cart track Zgornja Dobrava - 15 minutes) onto the footpath in the direction of Ojstra peč, which you reach within a minute's further walking.
