Robanov kot - Knezova planina

Access to the starting point:
Go over the Volovljek Pass (Kranjski Rak) or from Mozirje to Luce, then follow the signs for Solčava and the Logarska dolina. When you arrive in Robanov Kot, the signs for the Alpine valley of Roban angle direct you to the left onto a side road, which takes you to a parking area near the Roban farm, where you park. You can also park 500 m further down, where there is another parking lot, but you must not park in the parking lot of the Govc-Vršnik guesthouse, because there is no space for the guesthouse guests.

Path description:
If you have parked in the lower parking lot, continue along the road to the parking lot at Roban Farm, just a few metres further on from the last parking lot you will arrive at a crossroads, where you turn sharp right (straight ahead Robanova planina - ramp). Follow the road, which then starts to climb steeply, all the way to Knez Farm (it takes about 1. 5 hours to get here).
Just a few metres before the farm there is a crossroads where you continue along the left-hand road (the straight path leads across the courtyard), which after a long bend is joined by the one leading across the courtyard. Then, after a few minutes' walk from the farm, you will see a wooden mountain sign with the inscription Strelovec, which directs you to the left and slightly downhill, to cart track. Cart track onwards crosses a small spring, which dries up on dry days, then starts to climb mostly through the forest and turns into a steep footpath higher up, which then crosses some steep slopes. Higher up, the path turns into a dense forest, ending with a beautiful viewpoint, from which we have a nice view of the peaks and walls above Robanov Kot. After crossing partially vegetated grassy slopes, the path enters the forest, after which you reach the Knez lookout mountain pasture.
