Rucmanci - Gomila

Access to the starting point:
From the Ptuj - Ljutomer road, in the Savci settlement, turn in the direction of Gomile. Continue towards Gomila, and we follow the road to the settlement Rucmanci (there is no sign for the beginning of the settlement, only a road sign for the end of the settlement Savci), where we park in the parking lot next to the ecological island before the crossroads at which the chapel is located.

Path description:
From the crossroads by the ecological island, continue on the right-hand road, and at the next crossroads, a few 10 metres further on, continue on the left-hand road. Continue walking along the valley of the Sejanci stream, and we walk along the asphalt road to the point where the mountain direction signs for Gomila direct us to the right (the mountain direction signs are located about 50 metres further on) on a marked path that climbs between a field and the edge of the forest. Follow the grassy path quickly up to the abandoned farm, and above it follow the less traceable path that leads us through the hay fields. Higher up, follow cart track to the village of Rucmanski Vrh, where the asphalt road leads first to the right and then immediately to the left, passing a nearby house on the left. The path ahead leads along cart track, which turns into a forest on the other side of the meadow. Exit the forest onto a macadam road and follow it to the hamlet of Mali Senčak, where you continue towards Gomila at a marked crossroads. The way forward leads along an asphalt road, where you first go slightly right, slightly higher, and at the next crossroads sharp left. It is only a short walk of 10 steps before you reach the Café at the Tower, and a few steps further on to the lookout tower at Gomila.
