Saddle Sedlo - Bobotov kuk

Access to the starting point:
Some 4 km south of Žabljak, we find a crossing from the Žabljak-Nikšić road to the Žabljak-Sedlo-Trsa-Plužine road (at the moment there is no signpost!) and drive along a sloping, high-mountain, asphalted road to the Sedlo saddle (approx. 14 km from Žabljak). We park at the top of the saddle.

Path description:
From Sedlo saddle to Zeleni vir lake, where the second, steep part of the tour begins, we generally walk in a north-westerly direction. First, we go over a small ridge towards the foot of the Uvita Grijeda peak. Continue left along the base and then over a steep passage (one short steel cable) to a saddle to the left of Uvita Grijeda. Here the world lays down and gradually opens up. Continue first more or less along the isohipsi, followed by two longer descents, first gently down to the Surutka lake/lake, and then - in between, rising again a couple of dozen metres on a smaller ridge - a slightly more determined descent to Lake Zeleni. Passing it, we climb steeply up to a major trail junction. 1:30 to here.
Continue up, over the ledges of the southern slope Bobotov kuk (one steel cable in the lower part). The slope is steep and long. In a zigzag, we climb over more rocky parts, but higher up there are more and more grassy sections. When you reach the saddle, which is right below the summit pyramid, the view towards Žabljak opens up. From the saddle, continue left in a gentle ascent over rough terrain until you reach the saddle on the left below the summit pyramid. There, the valley with Škrč Lake opens up far below. On the west side there is first a short, exposed passage to the left, then a climb through a short gully, and above this a more gradual passage to the right to the summit rocks. A few rope rocks help us over the top rocks, and above the rope rocks there are only a few steps to the top. From the junction to the summit 1:30.
