Sebenje - Sebenje (Pot treh zvonov)

Access to the starting point:
a) From the Ljubljana - Jesenice motorway, take the Naklo exit and then turn left towards the Trnovc camp. Continue through Žeje, Spodnje and Zgornje Duplje and past the two road offsets to Žiganja vas. A little further along the main road, you will see signs for Sebenje, which will direct you to the right. A slightly narrower road then takes us into the village, and we continue right from the crossroads by the chapel and after a good 100 m of further driving we reach the next crossroads, at which the route described above begins. Park somewhere nearby, preferably in the parking lot of the Sebenje Ski Jumping Club.
b) From the motorway Jesenice - Ljubljana, at the Podtabor junction, take the exit Tržič, then take the main road towards Ljubelj. Before the Petrol station in Bistrica pri Tržiču, turn right, descend to the traffic lights, where you turn sharp right in the direction of Golnik. Continue along the main road towards Kranj, and after Retnje, take a short left in the direction of Sebenje. A slightly narrower road then takes us into the village, and we continue right from the crossroads at the chapel and after a good 100 m of further driving we arrive at the next crossroads, at which the route described above begins. Park somewhere nearby, preferably in the parking lot of the Sebenje Ski Jumping Club.

Path description:
At the starting point, there is an information board on the Three Bells Trail and direction arrows pointing to a side road. The path initially leads between houses, where you go right at the first crossroads, and then the houses gradually thin out behind the larger chapel. We continue straight ahead, along a road that loses its asphalt surface and which turns into a forest a little further on. As you enter the forest, the first bell is located by the trimming area, and we follow the road, which climbs slightly at first, but continues without any major changes in elevation. After a while, the road descends slightly and leads us out of the forest to the vast meadows south of Senično. Here, at a crossroads, turn right and the road leads past a paragliding landing site. The dirt road leads us across the vast meadows for a while, then we reach an asphalt road, which we follow to the left (to the right, the hamlet of Novake).
Just after the crossroads there is a second bell, and the asphalt road leads us in a few minutes to the next crossroads, where we go right (left Golnik). The way forward leads us past a few houses, and at the crossroads, where the asphalt ends, we go right. When we arrive at the edge of the forest, next to the regular signs for the Three Bells Trail, we now see for the first time the signs for Žiganja vas, which is still less than an hour's walk away.
To reach the village, climb gently through the forest for a while and then descend steeply to the village. Through the village we follow the signs for the Three Bells Trail, and a few minutes further on we arrive at Sebenje and a little further on to the start and end of our route.
