Access to the starting point:
From the Ljubljana - Jesenice motorway, take the Lesce exit and follow the road towards Bled and on to Bohinjska Bistrica. Continue driving towards Bohinjsko jezero (Ribčev laz), at which you will come to a crossroads, where you will continue straight along the left (south) side of the lake in the direction of Ukanec and the Savica waterfall. Follow this road to the bottom station of the pendulum at Vogel, then buy a ticket and take the cable car to the top station, which is the starting point for our tour.
Path description:
At the Ski Hotel, turn right (west) and follow the macadam road past the Merjasec mountain hut. The road begins to descend gently and leads to a crossroads. Take the road to the right after the signs "Komna, Cheese factory Zadnji Vogel". The road continues to descend gently and soon we are back at the crossroads. This time take the road to the left after the signs "Pl Zadnji Vogel, Komna". After only a few dozen metres of ascent, a sign on a rock (Vogel) directs us to a footpath that goes right into the forest. The path through the forest runs parallel to the road and begins to descend gently. When you rejoin the road, follow the signs "Pl. Last Vogel". The road then crosses the cable car "Last Vogel" and leads to the crossroads at the cheese cottage "Last Vogel".
Continue straight on past the cheese cottage and follow the signs "Komna" (the path to Vogel branches off to the left). The path then takes us through dwarf pines into the forest and starts to descend slightly again. To the right, a path branches off, leading down into the valley towards the Hotel Zlatorog, and we continue along the left path, which soon leads us out of the forest and opens up to beautiful views of the surrounding peaks. The path starts to climb again here and runs mostly on grassy terrain surrounded by rare dwarf pines. The path slowly starts to turn to the left and leads to a crossroads. To the left the path leads to the Globoko saddle (1828 m), and we continue to the right towards Konjski sedlo. Here we start to climb up the left side of the valley, with the most beautiful views of Konjski vrh and Bohinjska Migovec. When you reach the saddle, continue to the right after the "Komna" signs, the path to the left leads to Vogel. From the saddle the path starts to descend and crosses the slopes on the western side of Bohinjski Migovec (1901 m). Soon we are at the crossroads again.
Here continue left (right Komna) in the route Koča na planini Razor, following the path which begins to climb crosswise to the right. After a short crossing, the path leads us past a small valley, where we step off the slopes of Bohinj Migovec onto the rockier slopes of Vrh nad Škrbino. Here the path turns slightly to the right and leads us over a small rough scree slope to a small ravine, after which we enter a very short lane of dwarf pines. Above dwarf pines, the path climbs steeply for a short time, then lays down and crosses a steep scree slope to the right (this part is usually still snow-covered in early summer, so snowshoes and snowshoes are compulsory then). The path continues on the left, passing a small crater, which is snow-covered all year round. On the other side of the conte, the path starts to climb steeply towards Škrbina, which is reached after about 15 minutes of further ascent. When we get to Škrbina, we get a nice view of the coastal side, and at the crossroads we continue left along the south side of the ridge in the direction of Vrh nad Škrbino (straight down Koča na mountain pasture Razor, right Tolmin Kuk). The path then leads us along a steep, slightly crumbly slope to the steep northern slopes of Vrch nad Škrbino. Here we reach the first steeply ascending rocks. At a higher level, turn right and, with the help of some scrambles, climb back up to the south side of the ridge. On the south side, the path climbs steeply along the cliffs a few more times, and then gradually becomes less difficult. There is a 10-minute or so walk along the scenic ridge towards the summit. A few metres below the summit, an easier path with mountain pasture Razor joins from the right.

Discussion about the trail Ski hotel Vogel - Vrh nad Škrbino

Zelo dobro zavarovana pot!

Lušna tura, podaljšana na Planino Razor in čez vrh Vogla nazaj do "opustelega" Ski hotela. Varovala na Vrh nad Škrbino ok, vreme pa je tudi služilo. Do Planine Razor nobene gneče.
