Access to the starting point:
From the Ljubljana - Jesenice motorway, take the Lesce exit and then continue to Bled. Before Bled, you will see signs for the Šobec bivouac, which will direct you to the left onto the road, which will quickly take you to the large parking lot in front of the bivouac entrance. The parking lot, or the back part of the road, is charged for part of the year. During the high summer season, the entrance to the bivouac or the access to Šobče lake is also charged.
Path description:
From the parking lot, continue along the carriageway, which continues to the left of the Šobčev bajer fenced area and begins to climb transversely. When the wider macadam road curves slightly to the left, we continue right onto a side road with signs for the path along the Sava River. Looking at Babji zob and the surrounding hills, we quickly reach some beehives, after which the road turns into cart track. When we reach a larger meadow just a little further on, a short path, less than 5 minutes long, branches off to the left towards the Lehnjak stream and its source, and we, if we don't see the stream, continue straight on, but otherwise return to the above-mentioned crossroads and continue in the direction of Lancove. After leaving the larger meadow, the path continues alternately through the forest and partly across meadows. When you reach a small footbridge, cross it and then continue along the left bank of the Sava River, where it leads you past the fish. After a few minutes of walking along the river, you reach an asphalt road, where you turn right and cross the Sava River on a bridge. After the bridge, go left, where the path first leads you past the hydrological station Sava Radovljica, and then the asphalt road ends after a few houses. The path continues across a large meadow and then turns into a forest on the other side. Through the forest, follow cart track, which descends cross-wise to the Sava, and then continue along a winding path which continues close to the river. The trail continues past a former bridge, a boulder and an animal, and then reaches Fuxova brv, where it joins the trail from Radovljica.
Here we continue to the right and after a short climb along cart track we arrive at the next crossroads, where we continue straight on (right Pusti grad over Ravnica). The path continues through the forest, then at the next crossroads we continue slightly left in the direction of Kamna Gorica and after a few more steps we arrive at a private path where we pass a nearby house. Behind the house, the private path ends and the path leads through a short meadow with a view. The path continues past the statue of the Mother of God of Lourdes and a few more information boards on the nature trail. After a short, slightly steeper climb, we arrive at a small preval (there is a small cross by the preval), where we continue to the left on an unmarked path (right Pusti grad). After a few steps of ascent, the path splits again, and we continue on the lower right path (along the ridge Ojstri vrh - the path that bypasses Zjavko). Also at the next smaller crossroads, we stick to the right paths, but the moderately steep path quickly leads us to Zjavka, from which we open a beautiful view.
