Sotina - Sotinski breg (Kugla) (by road)

Access to the starting point:
a) First, drive to Maribor, then continue along the Pomurska motorway towards Murska Sobota. Leave the motorway at the Sveti Jurij ob Ščavnici exit and continue driving towards Radenice. At Radenci turn left towards Gornja Radgona and then soon right towards Gederovci. From Gederovci continue straight on towards Krajna and Skakovci, and in Skakovci turn left towards Cankova. Continue through the villages of Breg, Krašči, Pertoča, Rogašovci, Serdica to the village of Sotina. At Sotina, you will see direction signs by the Sbüll Inn and the first signs leading to the Sotina bank.
b) From Murska Sobota, drive to Gederovci, then continue to Skakovci, Cankova, Krašči, Pertoča, Rogašovci, Serdica to the village of Sotina. At Sotina, you will see direction signs by the Sbüll Inn and the first signs leading to the Sotina bank.

Path description:
Next to the pub, you will see a sign saying Sotina, which directs you to the left on the marked road. After a few 10 m, we reach a small crossroads where we leave the main road and continue right towards Kugla. The road continues on a completely winding road past a few houses, and then you arrive at the next crossroads. Here, continue left along the ascending road, which becomes more and more scenic. Continue climbing for some time between individual houses on the road, which occasionally climbs quite steeply. Higher up, the road flattens out a little, and then a moderate climb with increasingly beautiful views brings us to the edge of the border with Austria. Continue left here and after about 100 m you will reach the wooden lookout tower at Sotinski breg or Kugla.
