Spodnja Kokra - Škrbina (Slaparjeva gora) (via farm Zajc)

Access to the starting point:
From the motorway Ljubljana - Jesenice take the exit Kranj - East and follow the road towards Jezersko. Just a few kilometres after the Preddvor off-ramp, you will see a transformer on the right-hand side of the road and a parking lot next to it, but we drive a few hundred metres further and park directly next to the Čemšeniškem brook.

Path description:
From the parking lot, first carefully avoid the stream (concrete bridge) along the road and immediately after it find the path that leads you steeply into the forest and rises along the stream the whole time. After only 5 minutes of moderate ascent, you will find steps leading up to a gravel road, which is paved a little later. After a 20' walk, this road leads to the turnoff for the Čemšenik lodge. There, we cross the stream and continue to follow the main road, which we follow for another half an hour until we reach the Zajc farm. There we climb across a pasture past two cottages and immediately after them follow cart track to the left into the forest. Follow cart track, which has a few forks, until, already visibly close to the summit ridge, the less well maintained cart track leads off to the right. After 5 minutes we reach the ridge, actually a saddle, because the left path leads towards Slaparjeva Gora, and we find a path which leads us in a few minutes to the lower peak Škrbina, from where we can already enjoy the remarkable views of the Kamnik Alps. From there, we have to walk for another 5 minutes along a difficult to see but not very exposed ridge path between pine trees and rocks to the real summit of Škrbina.
