Spodnji Slemen - Žavcarjev vrh

Access to the starting point:
a) Drive to Maribor, then continue to Dravograd. A little before the road sign marking the end of the settlement Spodnji Slemen, on the right you will see red mountain direction signs for Žavcarjev vrh, where the route described above begins. There are no parking spaces at the starting point.
b) From Dravograd, drive towards Maribor. At the beginning of the settlement Spodnji Slemen, on the left, at the crossroads, you will see red mountain direction signs for Žavcarjev vrh, where the described route starts. There are no parking spaces at the starting point.

Path description:
From the starting point, continue along the asphalt side road in the direction of Žavcarjevje vrh, which soon turns left and climbs steeply in a few serpentines. At the last house the asphalt ends and the house is passed on the left. Behind the house, it initially appears that there is no continuation of the path, but a track running along a small ravine quickly leads us to another asphalt road.
Continue up to a yellow house with a very noisy dog, then cross a yard and orchard and return to the woods. Through the woods, the climb is steep at first, but when you reach the electricity pylons, it gets a bit steeper. The path continues along logging trail, then cart track, and after two benches the path becomes steeper again. Higher up, the path leads along a dirt road, which leads to the pass below Jarčevi vrh.
There is an easy descent to the village of Zgornji Slemen, and the path leads past the Jarc and Urbas-Hober farms and the old school. Soon you reach a crossroads, from where you climb towards Kljusef Farm, where the asphalt, which started at Urbas-Hober Farm, ends. There is an easy climb through the lane of a forest, past a transformer and across a meadow, and then into a spruce forest, where there is also a chapel along the way. The path ahead leads to the Hladin farm, from which we continue along the road to the Žavcarjevem vrh hut, where we are rewarded with a beautiful view.
From the hut we continue in the direction of Žavcarjevega vrh, and after 5 minutes of easier ascent through the forest we reach Žavcarjev vrh, which is the neighbouring summit of the slightly higher Možičevega vrha.
