Spominski park taborišča Mauthausen Ljubelj - Sveta Ana (Ljubelj)

Access to the starting point:
Leave the Gorenjska motorway at the Podtabor junction, from where you continue towards Tržič and the Ljubelj border crossing. Continue past the Tržič road turnoff and continue towards Ljubelj Border crossing. After the last tunnel (recognisable by the steep scree slopes behind the tunnel) before the border crossing, you will soon reach a long left turn, in the middle of which one of the paths to mountain pasture Korošica (starting point at the toll booth) branches off to the right. From here, continue along the main road, and then quickly arrive at the parking area next to the Ljubelj Memorial Park, where you park. The Ljubelj adrenaline park and the Karavla Koren guesthouse are also located at the starting point.

Path description:
From the parking lot, take the path towards Korošica, which leads past part of the Ljubelj Memorial Park. Above the park, the path goes into the woods, then splits after a few minutes, and we take the left cart track, which leads towards St Anne's Church, and the right cart track, which leads towards Korošica (the crossroads is not marked). A little further on, cross the main road towards Ljubelj, and the path quickly leads out of the forest, to the upper right edge of a larger pasture. Climb moderately along the pasture with fine views of the eastern part of Begunjščica and the ridge of Ljubeljščica, and then cross the lane of the forest. Once out of the woods again, it is only a few minutes of gentle to moderate ascent to St Anne's Church.
