Športni center - ŠD NK Križevci - Močvara (Lončarovci)

Access to the starting point:
Take the road to Murska Sobota, then follow the signs for Hodoš. In Gornji Petrovci turn right towards Križevci, in Križevci at the bus stop turn left towards Vidra's Aqualutra Centre and follow the signs for Aqualutra at the following junctions. Before you reach the Vidra centre, park in the parking lot next to the Sports Centre - ŠD NK Križevci.

Path description:
From the parking lot continue straight on (right Vidrin center Aqualutra) to the end of the road and the eco-island, from where continue right into the forest, where the path continues on the ascending cart track. A little further on, continue along the edge of the meadow for a short distance, and when you return to the forest from the crossroads, continue along the left-hand cart track. We continue to climb for some time, and then the path is laid and leads us along a gently sloping wooded ridge. A little further on, the path from Domanjševci (the path past St Martin's) joins us from the left, and we continue to the right, passing under the unmarked peaks of Homokoš Hill (the hill has two summits, 336 m and 334 m high). Go straight ahead at an unmarked fork in the tracks, and take a sharp left at the next fork, at which there is a wooden sign with a message to protect the forests from fires.
From the crossroads, walk for a few minutes on the gently sloping cart track, which is mostly easy going downhill. A little further on, we leave the forest and reach a track along the fields, which gradually widens into a road, and we follow it, with fine views of Lončarovci, to the village mentioned above, through which we descend on the main road. When the village ends, you will see a swamp on the right, where a short trail runs.
