Stahovica - Dom na Kisovcu

Access to the starting point:
From Kamnik, drive to Stahovica, where at the crossroads turn left towards the home in Kamniška Bistrica and the pendulum at Velika planina. Follow this road for a few metres to where a dirt road forks off to the right. Park here in a small parking lot on the side of the road or in a nearby parking lot.

Path description:
From the parking lot, continue along the road, which leads you in a moderate ascent through the forest towards Primož. Follow the road to the left at the first crossroads, where we occasionally get beautiful views. Follow the road to a sharp left turn from which a wide cart track branches off towards Sveti Primož. The turn-off is marked! The way ahead climbs a little more and leads us to the chapel. Behind the chapel the path is laid and after a short crossing leads us to a pleasant little well. The wide path climbs again slightly and leads us past another chapel to a crossroads where we continue left in the direction of Velika planina (straight 5 minutes to St Primož). The way forward begins to climb steeper, first along the edge of the clearing then through the forest, where after a few minutes of climbing we arrive at the next crossroads. The path from St. Primož joins us from the right, and the marked path to Velika planina continues upwards on the left. Continue straight ahead here, on the other side of the ridge, towards the house at Kisovec. The way forward is not marked! Continue the ascent along the path, which crosses, in places, quite steep slopes in a slight ascent. After about 20 minutes of walking from where we left the markings, the path starts to climb steeply. The relatively steep path leads us out of the forest only a few tens of metres in front of the house at Kisovec. From here to the house, there is only a short, gentle descent.
