Stara Fužina - Mostnice waterfall (via Mostnica gorge)

Access to the starting point:
Take the Bohinjska Bistrica, then continue in the direction of Bohinjsko jezero. In Ribčev Laz, from the crossroads at the beginning of Bohinjsko jezero, turn right in the direction of Srednja vas, Studor and Stara Fužina. The road then leads over a bridge and past the Church of St. John the Baptist, and a few 100 metres further on you arrive in Stara Fužina. In Stara Fužina you first pass the Lipa guesthouse, Triglav apartments, the bus station, the Mercator shop, and then you reach a crossroads, by the chapel, where you continue on the road to the left in the direction of the parking lot, the Mostnice riverbed, the Hudič Bridge, and the mountain paths to mountain pasture Blato and Vogar and the path to the Voja valley. From the crossroads, there is a bit of a climb, and when the settlement ends, you reach a pay parking area, where you park.

Path description:
At the beginning of the parking lot, signs for the troughs and the Mostnice waterfall direct you right onto a wide path, which will take you to the Devil's Bridge in a few minutes. Continue straight on (right over the Uskovnica bridge via mountain pasture Blatce and Stara Fužina), a little further on, and at the information sign for the Mostnica riverbeds, go slightly right. At the next crossroads, go slightly right again (left to Vogar, possibly also to Voje), and then reach the place where they collect the fee for the maintenance of the path through the Mostnica troughs (the entrance fee for adults was in June 2018, €3).
At this point, the trail forks, and we choose left or right. Both paths continue near the troughs (there is a turn-off to see the elephant by the right path), and later merge into one path, which ascends to the dirt road. Follow the road to the right and quickly reach the Planinska hut na Vojah.
Continue along the road as it continues through the Voja valley, and follow the signs for the Mostnice waterfall. A little further on, the road forks and we take the right path towards Uskovnica, the Mostnice waterfall and the waterfall cafeteria (Triglav, Velo polje and also the Mostnice waterfall on the left).
The way forward takes us over a small bridge and past a sign, and then we arrive in the upper part of the Voja valley, where the path leads us across meadows and past a few huts. The valley then begins to narrow, and the path leads us to the Voje Waterfall Refreshment Centre, from where we continue straight towards the waterfall. A few steps further on, a second path joins us from the left, leading towards the waterfall, and we continue straight on to the next crossroads.
Continue straight ahead again (Uskovnica on the right) and pass the last hut before returning to the forest. There is only a short climb and the path leads to the Mostnice waterfall.
